A discrete UHNW private family is seeking an experienced Weekend & Travel ROTA Nanny / Family Assistant to join their established childcare team across Northern and Southern California. This is a structured, team-based role supporting two children at different developmental stages: a toddler and a school-age child. The right candidate brings deep professional nanny experience, thrives in a high-expectation household, and is equally comfortable on the ground at home and traveling domestically or internationally. This family runs a tight, well-organized operation and needs someone who fits seamlessly into that culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both children across all routines, activities, outings, and appointments
  • Encourage independence, self-help skills, emotional development, and confidence in both children
  • Provide 24/7 support to children during weekend coverage
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed, supporting transitions between residences and maintaining travel inventories and supplies
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for all travel
  • Manage children's laundry, wardrobe organization, activity preparation, and inventory management
  • Coordinate calendars, maintain documentation and reporting, and communicate through shared digital systems
  • Work collaboratively with the Nanny Manager, educators, and household staff
  • Maintain strict discretion and operate with professionalism at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience
  • Demonstrated experience with both toddlers and school-age children
  • Experience working in fully staffed homes and with childcare teams is a strong plus
  • Strong administrative skills, able to juggle calendaring and logistics 
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes with ease 
  • Professional with high integrity and confidentiality
  • Functions well in a structured, systems oriented environment
  • Prior travel experience in a professional childcare capacity
  • Previous private household experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong written communication
  • Must be tech savvy with strong capabilities across Google Suite
  • Must be travel ready and able to travel between family’s residences
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Valid driver's license 
Location: Northern California (Bay Area) and Southern California (LA). Candidate must be willing and able to work across both locations.
Compensation: $45-$55 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Friday 6:00 AM through Monday 7:00 PM. This is a weekend role with 24/7 responsibility. Additional.  flexibility will be required during travel.
