We are seeking an exceptional Executive/Personal Assistant to the support the CEO of a fast-growing defense tech startup based in San Leandro, CA. This is a highly trusted, high-exposure role supporting a high-functioning founder operating at the intersection of technology, government, and military environments.

This position is ideal for someone who is deeply committed to the Executive Assistant career path and is excited to remain in an EA/PA role for the long term. The CEO is looking for a true right hand who can support both professional responsibilities and personal logistics as needed, and who is interested in growing alongside him as the company scales.

This EA will function as a true force multiplier:  traveling with the CEO, sitting in sensitive meetings, and bringing structure, clarity, and follow-through to a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is composed, capable, personable, and highly curious.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the CEO’s right hand, managing complex calendaring, scheduling, and shifting priorities across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate and book extensive domestic and international travel, including last-minute changes and high-security environments
  • Travel with the CEO as needed
  • Attend meetings across government, military, and technical settings; take expert-level notes and track action items
  • Drive follow-up to ensure execution and accountability
  • Support personal logistics as needed (travel, appointments, coordination, etc.) with discretion and strong boundaries
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a tech, startup, venture, or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in both Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant capacities strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to the EA profession, with interest in growing in the role over several years
  • Passport-ready and able to travel
  • Low ego, composed, grounded, and highly trustworthy
  • Adaptable, responsive, and a quick learner with strong follow-through
  • Highly discreet and capable of operating in sensitive environments
Location: San Leandro, CA (relocation supported)

Schedule: onsite 5 days/week (travel required)

Compensation and benefits: $150k–$160k base + bonus, benefits, and equity.
