A prominent, pet-loving UHNW family in the Coral Gables area is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Pet Care Provider to support the daily care and enrichment of their beloved dog. The family considers their pets true members of the family and places the highest value on consistency, trust, and exceptional care.
This is a long-term, stable opportunity for a true animal lover who enjoys spending quality time with dogs and providing thoughtful, attentive care. The ideal candidate will incorporate the dog into their daily routine offering engaging walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection (snuggles highly encouraged).
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and drop off the dog daily from the family’s residence
- Provide daily walks, exercise, playtime, and enrichment activities
- Ensure the dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness at all times
- Monitor behavior and overall well-being; communicate any concerns proactively
- Provide overnight care as needed, with the dog staying in the provider’s home
- Maintain consistency in routine, feeding, and activity preferences
- Transport the dog safely to parks, walks, or approved outings
- Offer calm, loving companionship and positive interaction with other pets and people
Qualifications:
- Proven experience caring for dogs or animals in a professional or long-term personal capacity
- Genuine love for animals with a nurturing, patient, and playful personality
- Reliable, safe vehicle and clean driving record
- Comfortable hosting the dog overnight in your residence when needed
- Trustworthy, punctual, and highly dependable
- Clean background check
- Strong communication skills and desire to build long-term trust with the family
Compensation: $45–$50/hour (1099)
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, with flexibility for overnights and weekends if needed
